Patriots convert improbable 4th down TD only to miss game-tying 2-point conversion

The New England Patriots were down to their final play in the AFC Championship and once again Tom Brady had a little magic up his sleeve. Facing a 4th-and-goal, Brady found Rob Gronkowski for a touchdown, despite being under heavy pressure.

That was defended wonderfully by the Broncos defense, but sometimes there is just no defense for a brilliant offensive play with a little bit of luck added.

But, that touchdown was only part of it. Because New England missed a extra point early in the game, the touchdown made it a 20-18 game and meant New England still needed a two-point conversion to tie the game. This time, the Denver defense came up with the stop.
