College football took over a category of Jeopardy! on Tuesday when contestants were asked to name the college based on the team name. The fine folks at Jeopardy! threw out a softball for the $200 question with "Crimson Tide" ... or at least what appeared to be a softball.
Oh, Terry. Not knowing who the Crimson Tide are would be one thing, but confusing them with their arch rival, well no one is happy about that.
My grandmother, an Auburn fan, and I, a student at Bama, were both quite offended. #jeopardy— instagran (@Lady_0_Shallots) January 6, 2016
Just now on Jeopardy-Answer: "Crimson Tide." Contestant: "What is Auburn?" He should be excused from the stage for confusing those rivals!— Chris Fowler (@cbfowler) January 6, 2016
@cbfowler he should be hung upside down by his toenails in a vat of honey and ants— TotlBama (@TotlNeal) January 6, 2016
This guy on jeopardy got the question "Crimson Tide" and said the college was Auburn...his manhood should be revoked. #Alabama— philip waltz (@Philip1723) January 5, 2016
This guy on Jeopardy just said Auburn was the Crimson Tide. He'll never be able to show his face in ol' Alabama.— Russ Novak (@RussNovak) January 6, 2016
and speaking of that sports category, terry (NC IN THE HOUSE) is now hated by auburn fans everywhere #Jeopardy— Jordan (@heelsrule1988) January 6, 2016
Dear god some bum on Jeopardy thought Auburn's nickname was the Crimson Tide. What an IDIOT! @Harveyrolltide— Pete Carges (@Carges550) January 6, 2016
Crimson Tide "What is Auburn" Slap in the face worthy on Jeopardy.— Jon Simkins (@JonSimkins13) January 6, 2016
If Alabama and Auburn fans can agree on anything, it's that none of them like Terry now.
