If you’ve watched the Ryder Cup this weekend, which is taking place in Minnesota for this year’s edition, you’re likely aware of how often the crowd chants “USA! USA!” every time something goes in Team USA’s favor, whether it’s good scoring or Team Europe messes up. Patriotism was in full effect for Day 2, and our own Brendan Porath captured the moment when the crowd, out of nowhere, started singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” while the sun was slowly rising.

Given how the Ryder Cup has gone for Team USA in the last 14 years (not well), and how important this year’s is to them (so much), a moment like this can give a person goosebumps.
