Tim Tebow made his Arizona Fall League debut on Tuesday. He went 0 for 3 at the plate and even crashed into the wall trying to catch a fly ball. The most significant part of his day, however, came after the game. Tebow was signing autographs when a fan suffered a seizure in the stands while getting an autograph from Tebow.

Tebow waited with the fan for paramedics to arrive, reportedly talking with the man and saying a prayer. Tebow reportedly even joked with the fan about the rivalry between Florida and Georgia.

“You’re a Bulldog? You’re kidding me,’’ Tebow said, according to USA Today. “Don’t even know how to respond to that.’’

Tebow remained even after paramedics arrived, reaching over the railing to console the fan.

According to USA Today, Tebow told the fan he would reach out later. Eventually, Tebow headed for the team bus, some 20 minutes after the fan first started having a medical issue.

The fan, 30-year-old Brandon Berry, told the Associated Press he was OK and resting at home Monday night after being released from the hospital.

One reporter who was at the game witnessed what happened and called it a “miracle.”
