If you’ve ever wanted to see a stunned hockey player shake his goalie mask so his teeth would fall out, then you’re in luck. On Tuesday night, Lightning goalie Ben Bishop took a shot to the helmet so hard that his teeth decided to escape his mouth.
Peter Holland of the Maple Leafs generated such astounding force with a wrister that Bishop immediately collapsed to the ice. Initially, the announcers thought he was just shaken up from the shot, then after he removed his helmet everyone realized what happened.

These aren’t cleanly popped teeth either. They broke in half. We’d run crying from the ice, but Bishop played out the rest of the game, proving that hockey is alive, well, and still bananas.
