Exhausted Boston College runner gets carried to the finish line by her opponents

During Friday’s ACC Cross Country Championships, Boston College runner Madeline Adams fell down with exhaustion toward the finish line. Right beside her was Clemson’s Evie Tate, who sacrificed her position to help Adams cross the line. Tate couldn’t do it alone, however, so Louisville’s Rachel Pease ran up behind them, and it was enough to get Adams across. It was an amazing display of sportsmanship, just two runners forgetting about a rivalry to help someone finish a race.
