Eric Berry’s having quite a return to his hometown of Atlanta, where he was playing for the first time in his career. It’s also the same city where he received his cancer treatment.
First, Berry scored on a pick-six. Then, after the Falcons scored to take a 28-27 lead, Berry took the Falcons’ 2-point conversion attempt back 100 yards for two points for the Chiefs.
It’s been a great afternoon for Berry, who became the first player to return an interception and a defensive two-point conversion for a score in the same day. He undoubtedly deserves it.
