Today I learned two very interesting things about Yoenis Cespedes.
1. He really loves waffles. Specifically round waffles.
2. He will let others drive his Lamborghini in his pursuit of said round waffles.
Cespedes is at spring training with the Mets and apparently likes to start the day with some waffles.

Nothing abnormal about that. Except Cespedes does not like to eat square waffles. Only round ones. This presented a problem on Wednesday when the Mets were without a round waffle maker. The solution was to send a staffer to the store to get one. Cespedes was even nice enough to provide transportation with his own car. Cespedes just happened to drive his $400,000 Lamborghini to practice that day.

Yes, a Mets staffer really spent part of the morning driving a Lamborghini around in search of a round waffle maker. It took two stops because the local Wal-Mart was out of round waffle makers, according to Newsday.
So why all the fuss about round waffles instead of the square variety? Superstitions, of course.
Most underrated part of this is Cespedes saying square waffles are bad luck. Like supernatural forces are using waffles as a vessel.
