One year anniversary of Beyonce's publicist being unable to remove this from the Internet. pic.twitter.com/HHQOvQry6d

1. Today is a national holiday because Beyonce is performing at the Super Bowl. On Saturday, she released the surprise song "Formation" and burned down the Internet. It might upset some football fans, but the NFL should really cancel the Super Bowl and let Beyonce perform this song for three straight hours.
2. Today is ALSO a national holiday because it has been three years since Beyonce's publicist sent BuzzFeed an e-mail about removing several "unflattering" photos from a recap of that performance. Every year we remember this photo, not to humble or embarrass Beyonce, who is beyond reproach. No, we must repost this photo to remember the power of the Internet, from which nothing can be truly removed.
