Goose Gossage's reaction to Cam Newton is precisely how you imagine a dude named "Goose Gossage" would react to anything made after the old iron horse pulled out of Silver City for the last time. Which is to say his thoughts might be a little antiquated. At New York Yankees' spring training he launched into a new tirade.
His latest "old man yells at cloud" moment came on Tuesday when he doubled-down on his hatred of bat flipping, replay and things he thinks are ruining sport.
"It's a shame, it breaks my heart to see the direction this game is going. What, do we want a bunch of Cam Newtons running around?"
The Carolina Panthers waited, picked their time and were totally okay with the idea of a bunch of Cam Newtons running around.
