Professional strongman Eddie Hall has a new world record for deadlifting. The British strongman broke his own world record in Columbus on Saturday with a simply astounding 465 kilogram (1,025 pound) lift to break his own mark set a month ago.
Forget the strain this puts on your arms, back and shoulder — look at the bar. It doesn't want to be here. It just wants to quit. There's legitimately a moment where you wonder whether Hall will give out first, or the bar will just bend.
Simply amazing. Mr. Hall, you deserve this record.
