When a call does not quite go in your team's favor, you best react accordingly. That's exactly what this Pirates fan did Tuesday night in the heat of the moment:
Apparently, the causal factor for this visceral display of emotion was a Mark Melancon 2-1 pitch to Matt Carpenter that was called a ball (the at-bat would conclude with Carpenter flying out), in a tie game in the ninth inning. The Pirates would go on to win on a walkoff single in the 11th, for what it's worth. But nothing could prepare us for "Angry Pirates Baseball Man:"
Channeling his inner drill sergeant? Lou Piniellla? Gregg Popovich? Robert De Niro? That one Little League coach that always took things just a little too seriously? Maybe he's just flushing out all the frustrations of Pirates baseball for the last 40 years in this one dubious call. Who knows, but the face is HILARIOUS.
