The Jacksonville Jaguars had an objectively amazing draft. The stars aligned to somehow allow the team to land two of the best players in the entire class while only sacrificing a mid-round pick in a trade. Fans are excited, but nobody gave a better draft take than this.
This isn't one of those occasions where you can just read the quotes and get the gist of what happened either. It's all about her tone -- it's perfect. Equal parts "The Dude" and mid-90s Keanu Reeves, but with a air of quiet sophistication.
Reporter: They say they had the best draft in the entire NFL. Are you surprised to hear that?
Fan: Certainly not. The first year we took it to the limit ... and I was in Miami with my new beach house. Well, it was a couple of minutes from the beach.
Reporter: It's been 20 years since then. We haven't been too strong in the last few years.
Fan: Oh, we've been strong -- we're just playing by the rules. You can't have a newcomer come in and steal the show.
