The Chicago Cubs are taking on the Cardinals in St. Louis on Wednesday, and there's at least one fan who seems to be confused on who to root for.

Aside from the Cubs-White Sox rivalry, Chicago has a well-documented NL Central rivalry with the Cardinals, which is why so many people have taken pause at the above image.

The dude who wore a Cubs hat and Cardinals jersey to the game today is fired from everything. Everything. Even shredding paper. Fired.

Like, I don't know if this is a prank on Cubs or Cardinals fans, or if this is a genuine, can't-we-all-just-get-along gesture he's doing here. If it's the latter scenario, it's clearly not working. Those two teams are just destined to loathe each other forever, and wearing their apparel at the same time and at one of their baseball games won't bring peace.
