Players jumping over players during dunk contests is nothing new, but jumping over a dude who's 7'6 is a whole other story. That's what happened over the weekend at the Ball is Life All-America game when professional dunker Myree "Reemix" Bowden soared over 7'6 California-Irvine center Mamadou Ndiaye.
Ndiaye wasn't hunched over, and didn't make himself a small(er) target. He just stood there with the ball on his head daring anyone to attempt it. Consider for a second just how bad this would have been if Bowden hadn't managed to make it over Ndiaye. At best Bowden is falling a really long way to the ground and the 7'6 player is getting a face full of crotch, and worst -- well, it could have been bad.
That's why this dunk deserved this reaction:
