Steven Adams is from Fart Town and his life story is incredible. He's one of 18 (EIGHTEEN) children, had a fascinating childhood and you should absolutely read about those details on ESPN. Today we're here for one thing: FART TOWN.
Adams comes from the town of Rotorua on New Zealand's north island. It's a picturesque town of 60,000 with hot springs that brings visitors to see the thermal activity. One problem: There's a lot of sulfur too, which makes Rotorua a fart town.
"It smells like someone farted in your face all the time," Adams said, "but you get used to it."
This is hardly a new revelation about Rotorua.
Rotorua smells like farts but I get to check out some awesome geysers, mud pools and geothermal activity! This country is so damn cool.

Going through Rotorua is the only time I feel safe letting my farts go on the bus

Rotorua: it smells like farts. I can see why they went with a different motto but this is more honest.

My farts are so bad tonight they would make the geysers in Rotorua blush

A beautiful, stinky Fart Town. It's the place Steven Adams calls home. At least for all the stench it's not as bad as Flat Hills ... apparently.
Rotorua gets a bad rap cos I tell you what, Flat Hills smells like rancid hangover farts
