UC Santa Barbara was down 3-0 heading into the bottom of the ninth inning against Louisville.
The series definitely appeared to be headed to a decisive Game 3, where the Louisville Cardinals -- favored to win it all -- would have a chance to qualify for the College World Series. Then the Gauchos loaded the bases. Then Sam Cohen stepped to the plate.
A line drive down the right field line carried over the fence and advanced UCSB to the College World Series. It also got an ump swallowed in a dogpile, which might be the best part of all of this.
