Please, enough with the sports references at the Republican National Convention! We appreciate the effort, but they’re making politicians look silly. Florida took credit for LeBron James’ success — in Cleveland — which is bold. But more importantly, it’s at least somewhat accurate.
At least Florida Man didn’t do what the delegate from Kansas did. Sporting Kansas City Royals gear, he bravely boasted about the World Series champs. Nothing bad with that right?
Well, there is one small, minuscule, not-that-big-of-a-deal detail. The Kansas City Royals are from Missouri. Oops.
Luckily for him, the fine folks in Missouri were kind enough to correct him a few moments after.
