The Clemson Tigers are national champions. They got there by beating the Alabama Crimson Tide in a thrilling title game. Auburn fans celebrated the victory by rolling Toomer’s Corner. Clemson players? Well, they just celebrated by dancing.
They danced in the confetti.
Oh was that split by defensive lineman Christian Wilkins not impressive enough for you? Well, how about this one.
That is a national championship-worthy split. It would have been extremely unjust if Clemson lost and we were deprived of seeing that.
They danced on the podium.

The thing is, though, this isn’t just a bunch of players happy to dance after winning the biggest game of their lives. This has been a long time coming. Clemson has been dancing. This is just the Tigers’ first time doing it after a national championship. Let’s take a brief look back at some of the dancing that led to this point.
- Clemson danced with Krispy Kreme donuts
- Clemson danced when it made the national championship game last year
- Clemson danced for the Running Man Challenge
- Clemson danced when the dab was still popular
- Clemson danced to “Hotline Bling”
And now Clemson is dancing in national championship confetti.
