Thunder fan changes into Bucks jersey after Russell Westbrook gets blocked by Giannis Antetokounmpo

Bandwagoning is apparently legal in Milwaukee.

Some time over the past decade, bandwagoning has become socially acceptable in sports circles. You can be a fan of one team one day, and a fan of another the next — a Knicks fan today and a Celtics fan tomorrow.

It’s become a thing. And this kid in Milwaukee took bandwagoning to a new level when he switched jerseys mid-game, championing one of the league’s best players and then another.

The young fan wore a Russell Westbrook jersey to Monday’s Thunder-Bucks matchup. But when Milwaukee forward Giannis Antetokounmpo pinned Westbrook’s layup onto the backboard, the youngster immediately changed into an Antetokounmpo jersey.

You can see the play below.

The Bucks went on to beat the Thunder, 98-94, powered by Antetokounmpo’s 26 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists. Westbrook finished with 30 points on 9-of-28 shooting, seven rebounds, and six assists.

We don’t know if the act was staged or a true show of bandwagoning at its finest, but one thing is certain: the kid couldn’t have found two better jerseys to flip between.
