The Miami Dolphins took their bad day to a whole new level when cornerback Tony Lippett committed one of the
worst best encroachment penalties of all time on a Pittsburgh Steelers field goal attempt.
We know that blocking a kick is all about anticipation, but the snap isn’t even close to happening here. Kudos to Lippett for clearing the center in a single bound, but literally nobody on the line is moving — on either side.
The worst part of all this is that it turned a potential three points for the Steelers into a touchdown — making a terrible day worse. Let’s check in on the reverse angle.
