Spring training: The sun is shining, the temperatures are rising, there’s baseball on, the sprinklers are running — wait, that last part’s not supposed to happen. During Saturday’s Cincinnati Reds-Cleveland Indians game, Goodyear Ballpark turned into a little waterpark in the bottom of the eighth inning. The game was delayed while the players tried to stay dry, and the crew scrambled to shut off the sprinklers.
It’s unfortunate, but on the bright side, at least it happened during spring training and not family movie night.
