This lacrosse 'hidden ball' goal was so convincing the goalie never saw who scored

This hidden ball goal executed by Johns Hopkins on Tuesday night is pure poetry. This isn’t a new thing, we see at least three of these plays a season — but perhaps none are better executed than this.

No. 55 perfectly sold the fake when in reality he kept the ball himself. Note that he turned his body ever so slightly, which meant he screened the hand-off from his opponents. From there it was academic. The initial “receiver” just had to put a move on and make it look like he was trying to put a play together, while the carrier got to take a shot on goal that was so open the goalie didn’t even see him in his peripheral vision.

Savage.
