WrestleMania 33: Rob Gronkowski helps Mojo Rawley win the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

GRONK!

During the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania, Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski was front row. Gronk is a wrestling fan but most importantly, he’s a fan of Mojo Rawley. They’ve been buddies for a while.

Gronk even cut a promo with Rawley a few years back. Rawley was one of the remaining contestants in the elimination match when the action spilled out to the outside. Jinder Mahal, one of Rawley’s opponents, stepped up to Gronk. Of course, Gronk wasn’t going to let that happen so he went over the barricade, hopped into the ring, and delivered a football tackle. That’s what Mojo needed for the victory.

We’ve said that Gronk has a future in WWE when he retires from the New England Patriots, but we didn’t expect it to happen when he’s fresh off a Super Bowl win. If Gronk can step in the ring, it’s safe to say he can get back on the field to help the Pats repeat.
