Tim Tebow had an incredible surprise for a die-hard fan when he appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday. Every year Tebow’s foundation hosts “Night to Shine,” an event to celebrate people with special needs and hold a prom dance. This year he was contacted by Judy, who asked him to prom -- but he wasn’t able to attend due to his speaking and baseball commitments. On TV he decided to make things right.
Tebow explained that he never got to go to prom as a teenager, at which point Fallon jokingly presented him with a corsage — but this wall all a part of their plan. Tebow told the audience that he arranged something very special with Judy’s mom, so he could make up for not being able to go to prom with her.
Tebow went into the audience, took Judy by the hand and the pair danced on stage.
Judy’s mom, who helped arrange everything with Tebow couldn’t keep it together while she watched her daughter dance with her hero.
It was a truly unforgettable moment that was legitimately heartwarming. You can hate on Tebow’s baseball career being over-covered, but there’s no denying he’s an incredible human being.
