We didn't know what they'd come up with next... @originalnathans #nathans #Hawkeyes #shenanigans https://t.co/M6vhik5g3c

Shenanigans happen all the time in baseball dugouts, from Yoda dabbing to washing someone’s hair. On Saturday, some Iowa Hawkeyes baseball players decided to have their own shenanigans, and probably get dinner out of the way. When Big Ten Network was interviewing coach Rick Heller, his players, Zach Fricke and Austin Guzzo, had a hot dog eating contest right behind him, complete with cups of water to dip the buns in. According to the scoreboards other players were holding up, Guzzo won with five hot dogs consumed over Fricke’s four.
The Hawkeyes lost, 9-3, to the Minnesota Golden Gophers, but honestly, this victory’s slightly more important than the baseball game they were playing. Congrats, Guzzo.
