Guess what, fellow reader. You and I are both about to scream because look right here: BEN SIMMONS IS HEALTHY AND DUNKING AGAIN.
What a beautiful sight during the week of Markelle Fultz’s introduction into the National Basketball Assocation. It’s horrifying that the Sixers are about to unleash back-to-back No. 1 picks in the same season.
Simmons sat what was supposed to be his rookie season last year with a broken foot, but now he seems to be back to full strength. And if this isn’t full strength then ... oh my.
Simmons is one step closer to dunking on Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball, like Embiid asked him to on Twitter during the draft:
We’ll have to wait a few more months to see what this Sixers rebuild really means, but it’s already too fun to fantasize what this Joel Embiid, Dario Saric, Fultz, and Simmons lineup could turn into.
For right now, it seems that we may have a chance to see the Sixers’ big four in action at the same time to start the season, and hopefully fans won’t have their hearts broken again from injury. It’s time for process to show its face.
