If you use Twitter to follow anyone that has a large audience, you’re bound to see them make a public complaint about an airline they’re using. Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Fletcher Cox had some trouble with Delta on Sunday:
Two flights two delays @Delta im need something besides a survey after this flight

His teammate, Chris Long, decided to pull a fast one on Cox by changing his Twitter display name and profile picture to look like Delta’s, and make them look like jerks:

Long went back to his real name and previous picture, because eventually he felt bad for Delta:
I'm changing my name back because I actually love Delta

Meanwhile, someone handling Delta’s Twitter account stepped in and tried to accommodate him as they are wont to do:
Once your entire travel has been completed, we will definitely review your reservation to discuss compensation options. *HSD

And now Long’s tweet looks like he’s speaking on behalf of the Eagles:
Fletcher, we don't give a shit. Grab some extra pretzels and sit tight.

It was a shortlived prank, but Chris Long nailed it.
