A man in Australia took matters into his own hands when he needed to bring his beer cross country on a flight. Dean, the man behind the idea, checked a single can of beer at an airport in Melbourne to make the four-hour flight to Perth.
The man explained his plan to the Daily Mail, which involved a little help from a friend of his.
'My mate works at the airport and we hatched the plan as a laugh - I half didn't expect it to come out the other end,' he said.
The beer did arrive safely, however — and this is how it looked on the other end.
This is the kind of ingenuity we could all use a little more of. Kudos to Dean for learning that packing light isn’t just a plan, it’s a way of life. Also, credit where it’s due to the baggage handlers at both airports. Somehow this lone can of beer looks no worse for wear despite being in a cargo hold.
