How many baseball players does it take to not catch this routine pop-up?

Ever seen a batter reach third on a dropped pop-up? You’re about to, thanks to an incredible moment on Thursday night. The Springfield Cardinals were playing the Midland RockHounds when this happened.

This play doesn’t happen without a healthy dose of goofiness, and the RockHounds obliged with their infield meeting.

To be fair: Nobody should have expected this ball to drop in, but it did. The result was literally nobody covering the bases and the batter making it to third.

Weird baseball, best baseball.
