Giant hail in Colorado turned a golf course into something out of ‘Willy Wonka’

Weather is scary.

What happens when golf ball-sized hail meets a golf course?

The Coal Creek Golf Course in Lousville, Colorado got obliterated Tuesday following severe storms that struck parts of the state. The pockmarked greens will need serious repair, with divots being two or three inches into the ground in some cases.

A similar case happened in nearby Aurora.

Damage across the state is still being evaluated following the storm.
