We have a pitcher's duel in Pittsburgh! Actually, that's an understatement. St. Louis starter Michael Wacha has a perfect game going through four innings, and Pittsburgh's Charlie Morton has allowed only a hit and a walk. Wacha has thrown 51 pitches and recorded five strikeouts, while Morton is at 60 pitches with only three K's.
The only hit of the game so far was a single by Matt Holliday in the 1st inning. Carlos Beltran also walked for the Cardinals to lead off the 4th.
This just in: Michael Wacha is pretty frigging good. Of last 39 hitters to face him, one has reached base. That'll work.
