The Mariners were threatening a comeback against the Dodgers in the sixth inning on Wednesday at Dodger Stadium when Robinson Cano had a brain cramp that helped squash a rally.
Cano was on third base and Nelson Cruz on second base with one out in the sixth inning, down 5-2, when Dodgers pitcher Paco Rodriguez walked Kyle Seager to load the bases. But Cano must have thought the bases were already loaded because he began jogging home, and was easily thrown out for the second out of the inning.
Just look at poor Cruz at second base flailing to alert Cano:
The Mariners didn't score again in the inning.
