Before the All-Star Game on Tuesday in Cincinnati, every team's "Franchise Four" were announced, fans' choice of the best players in each club's history. The host Reds were announced last, and all-time hits leader Pete Rose got the loudest ovation of the night.

Rose was chosen along with Johnny Bench, Barry Larkin and Joe Morgan. The latter three are all in the Hall of Fame, because they didn't bet on baseball.
