It's MLB Draft day! (Day 2!)

Friday’s Say Hey, Baseball includes draft results from Day 1, Day 2 of the draft, and stuff that happened in baseball that isn’t draft-related.

Listen, we know it’s tough to catch up on everything happening in the baseball world each morning. There are all kinds of stories, rumors, game coverage and Vines of dudes getting hit in the beans every day. Trying to find all of it while on your way to work or sitting at your desk just isn’t easy. It’s okay, though, we’re going to do the heavy lifting for you each morning, and find the things you need to see from within the SB Nation baseball network, as well as from elsewhere. Please hold your applause until the end, or at least until after you subscribe to the newsletter.

The first 77 selections of the 2016 MLB Draft have been made. The Phillies chose high school outfielder Mickey Moniak first overall, the Padres made five selections total, and the Braves made the first four of their five picks in the top 80. Now we’re on to Day 2, home of rounds three through 10, and it all begins at 1 p.m. ET. You can still follow along on MLB.com, and the whole thing will move along faster than it did on Day 1.

You can also keep up with all the picks made (and the picks to be made) using our draft tracker if you’re not in a place to be watching video or you can’t stand to hear Harold Reynolds say another pick is a "great pick." The last 30 rounds of the MLB Draft will take place on Saturday, and those are rapid-fire selections made on a conference call with representatives from all 30 teams. You can probably just check back after those are done to see what went down.

For now, though, let’s dive right into some Day 1 news before that 1 p.m. start time hits us.
