Tropicana Field's trash architecture gifted us this amazing home run gif

We can't stop watching this and now neither can you.

Tropicana Field’s architecture is trash. Baseball fans know this, players probably have an inkling at this point that it’s not too peachy to play there, and there’s a chance that even if you’ve never watched an inning of baseball in your life you still know in the back of your mind that Tropicana Field is bad.

But we’re not just here to put down Tropicana’s architecture — there’s plenty of time to get those kicks in during your everyday life — we’re here to thank the field for giving us something cool for once.

This gif of Steven Souza Jr.’s home run against the Blue Jays in the fourth inning of Wednesday’s game.

I haven’t stopped watching that gif for at least 10 minutes straight, and now you’re the lucky person who can’t stop watching it on a loop over, and over, and over, and over again.

It’s so cool. Wrapping your head around the science of it takes a few seconds at first but once you see the way the ball is traveling in relation to the camera and the roof, it’s super cool.

This might be the first good thing Tropicana Field has provided to outside baseball fans. Thankfully it’s incredibly enjoyable and intoxicatingly re-watchable.
