Caricatures make great memories, whether it’s from a day on a seaside boardwalk with your family, or a carnival as a teenager, or one of those sidewalk caricature artists who you find in New York City and pay for one to be done because you’re just tipsy enough from brunch still that it seems worth it.
Baseball buddies Charlie Blackmon and Trevor Story got one done together in the Rockies’ dugout last month during Family Day celebrations, to solidify their friendship and have a little fun.
Suffice to say, it’s amazing.
This caricature actually seems like a great representation of these two players and their friendship. They’re both smiling, Story’s hair is very accurate, and Blackmon’s beard taking up over half of the page is exactly how it should be.
The only bad thing about this caricature is that it took a month for it to be released to the public so everybody can enjoy it together.
