Cody Bellinger hit a crucial home run that gave the Los Angeles Dodgers the lead in Game 7 of the National League Championship Series, helping LA back to the World Series for a second season in a row. For his efforts, Bellinger was named NLCS MVP after the Dodgers dispatched the Brewers 5-1 on Saturday night at Miller Park in Milwaukee.

Down 1-0 in the second inning, Bellinger hit a two-run home run against Jhoulys Chacin, the first runs allowed this postseason by the Brewers right-hander.

Bellinger was 1-for-4 and scored twice in the deciding Game 7, and for the series. He hit just .200 (5-for-25) in the series, but aside from the go-ahead homer on Saturday Bellinger also had the walk-off single in the 13th inning to win Game 4 in Los Angeles.

The Dodgers are the first National League team to make back-to-back World Series since the Phillies in 2008-09. The Fall Classic opens on Tuesday at Fenway Park, with the 108-win Boston Red Sox holding home field advantage.
