Oregon State was a game from elimination twice, and used a pair of two-game winning streaks to win their third NCAA baseball championship, and their first since 2007.
The Beavers needed to beat Mississippi State to get to the finals, then trailed Arkansas by a game and trailed in the ninth inning of Game 2. A foul pop fly that could have been the final out of a Razorbacks title instead fell to the grass, and Oregon State rallied to win that game, and then Game 3 to win the championship at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha.
