UFC 217: Start time, TV schedule for Bisping vs. GSP

UFC 217 is nearly here, and we have all you need to know to follow the action.

The UFC is putting on its biggest card of the year on Saturday: UFC 217: Bisping vs. St-Pierre. It features the return of Georges St-Pierre for the first time since 2013, and he’ll be challenging Michael Bisping for the UFC Middleweight Championship.

But that’s not all — the UFC Bantamweight Championship will be on the line when Cody Garbrandt takes on T.J. Dillashaw, and the Women’s Strawweight Championship will be on the line when Rose Namajunas challenges the very tough Joanna Jędrzejczyk for her belt.

Saturday’s card will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET on UFC Fight Pass with the first slate of preliminary bouts. It will continue at 8 p.m. on Fox Sports 1 with another slate of prelims, and finally: The main card will begin at 10 p.m. on pay-per-view. Live streaming can be had via Fight Pass, UFC.TV, the UFC YouTube channel and more.

St-Pierre hasn’t fought since a successful title defense at UFC 167 in November 2013, and hasn’t lost since a TKO to Matt Serra in 2007. He’s obviously been out of the sport for a long time, but he’ll be facing another long-time veteran of the sport in Bisping.

Bisping is 30-7 as a professional and has won his last five bouts. He’s getting up there in years, but he’s looked better than ever in recent bouts. St-Pierre is 25-2, and if he regains his old form, Bisping will have an awfully hard time beating him.

Garbrandt has not lost as a professional, holding an 11-0 record including his win over Dominick Cruz that got him the title in his last outing. Dillashaw has won two straight since losing the title to Cruz, and is 14-3 as a professional.

Jędrzejczyk is one of the most dominant champions in the sport, and she has defended her title five consecutive times. She is 14-0 as a professional, and owns a win over Karolina Kowalkiewicz, the last woman to best Namajunas in the octagon. Namajunas is 6-3 and coming off a win over Michelle Waterson in her last bout.
