Tyron Woodley and Steven Thompson fought to a majority draw in November and the two will face off in a rematch for the UFC welterweight championship on Saturday at UFC 209: Woodley vs. Thompson 2.
The card is set to get underway at 6:30 p.m. ET with the UFC Fight Pass prelims and will continue at 8 p.m. on Fox Sports 1 for two hours. The main card comprises the pay-per-view portion of the broadcast, and that will get underway at 10 p.m.
UFC Fight Pass, UFC.TV, the UFC YouTube channel and various UFC apps on connected smart devices will all have live streams of different portions of the card available for viewing. Live streaming a UFC fight is as easy as picking where you want to watch it at this point.
Woodley and Thompson fought a very close back-and-forth the last time and a draw was not at all surprising to see. For Woodley, it was his first ever title defense after he won the belt from Robbie Lawler. Prior to that, he owned consecutive wins over Kelvin Gastelum and Dong Hyun Kim.
Thompson was riding a seven-fight winning streak going into his first ever shot at a title. His only career loss to that point was to Matt Brown at UFC 145. Shortly after the majority draw, which allowed Woodley to keep the belt, a rematch was announced between the two.
Below is all the information you need to watch Saturday’s card, and below that is the full official fight card for the night of fights.
