José Aldo will face Max Holloway in the headlining bout of UFC 212 on Saturday to unify the promotion’s undisputed and interim featherweight title bouts. The division hasn’t had stability since Conor McGregor won the title and vacated it by moving up a weight class, but it should get some on Saturday.
Saturday’s card will take place at the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It begins at 6:30 p.m. ET on UFC Fight Pass, continues at 8 p.m. with Fox Sports 1 prelims on television and then caps off with the pay-per-view getting underway at 10 p.m.
As usual, UFC Fight Pass requires a subscription while the pay-per-view can be ordered online via UFC.TV, the UFC YouTube channel and various UFC apps on connected devices.
Aldo and Holloway have both lost to McGregor, who is now competing in the lightweight division. Aldo’s last fight was a big win over Frankie Edgar for the title, while Holloway is coming off a TKO win over Anthony Pettis for the interim belt.
The main card will open with a high-level welterweight contest between Erick Silva and Yancy Medeiros. Following that, Paulo Borrachinha and Oluwale Bamgbose will face each other in the middleweight division.
Perhaps as exciting as the main event, the third main card fight will see Vitor Belfort take on Nate Marquardt in the middleweight division. Belfort is one of the best strikers in the UFC. Finally, the co-main event will pit Karolina Kowalkiewicz against Cláudia Gadelha in the women’s strawweight division.
