NASCAR at Texas Motor Speedway race day weather forecast 2014

More nice weather as NASCAR continues to roll through the Eliminator round this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway.

The weather forecast for Sunday's AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway continues to look good. We will see a mixture of sunshine and clouds into the afternoon, with temperatures slightly warmer than they were on Friday and Saturday, nearing 70 degrees. The only weather concern drivers may have to deal with on Sunday is the wind.

Winds will be out of the south-southeast between 10 and 20 mph, with gusts potentially reaching 25 mph -- not horribly windy, but enough to cause some handling issues and pain for crew chiefs and drivers.
