A routine pit stop turned anything but during Friday's NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Richmond International Raceway.
As Brendan Gaughan stopped on pit road for service, an inferno broke out at the rear of his car where the gasman was refueling the No. 62 car. The fire was quickly extinguished with Gaughan driving away without further incident. Two of Gaughan's crewman along with a member of another team were transported to a local hospital for further evaluation, according to a USA Today reporter.
