While the Brickyard 400 has lost some of its luster over the years, it is still a big race for many of the drivers in the NASCAR circuit. Winning at the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway and "kiss the bricks" is something many teams and drivers hope to do. With such an important race, weather is equally important. Given the luck NASCAR has had the last couple of weeks with the weather, many fans are nervous anytime they see or hear rain in the forecast.
The weekend weather forecast for Indianapolis is mostly dry but there are chances of rain and storms Saturday night and into Sunday morning. There is just a small chance of isolated showers and storms popping up during the afternoon. I don't anticipate much of any problems, but a delay can't be completely ruled out. Odds of racing Sunday are around 90 to 95 percent.
