NASCAR race weekend weather at Chicagoland: Will there be rain to start the chase?

The Chase for the Sprint Cup starts this weekend at Chicagoland Speedway. Will Mother Nature provide nice weather or wet weather for the chase contenders this weekend?

Showers moved through and out of the region early Saturday morning. Other than a few morning clouds Saturday morning, weather will cooperate for NASCAR at Chicagoland Speedway this weekend. Temperatures will be nice, ranging from near 80 on Saturday to the upper 70s on Sunday. We will have a mix of sunshine and clouds on Saturday with mostly sunny skies on Sunday. Winds will also not be a problem, coming out of the west both days and averaging between 5 to 10 mph.
