NBA Draft Rumors: Wizards Entertaining Trade Of No. 3 Pick Likely A Bluff

The Washington Wizards hold the No. 3 overall draft pick in Thursday's NBA Draft, and all indications are that the team will hold on to the choice, but there are some late rumors flying around that the team is taking calls for the pick. The Washington Post's Michael Lee reports that several teams are calling the Wizards for the choice in order to draft Kansas Jayhawks forward Thomas Robinson.

Robinson is also a player of interest to the Charlotte Bobcats at No. 2 overall. The team is reportedly looking to move out of the No. 2 spot, and there are rumors that the Cleveland Cavaliers would give up the fourth and 24th overall picks to move up to the second pick. If the Bobcats make that rumored trade and the Wizards move their pick to a team that wants Robinson, well, tough luck for Charlotte.

ESPN's Chad Ford believes this is definitely a ploy to make Charlotte nervous. As long as Wizards owner Ted Leonsis wants the team to keep the No. 3 overall pick, that is how things will be.
