(*sigh*) It would have been SO great to have titled this article "LeBron James Hates Santa Claus". But even by the media's incredibly low standards for manipulating LeBron's words and actions, finding "I hate Santa Claus" in the subtext of this next quote is tough.
↵↵With the Miami Heat set to face the Lakers on Christmas Day, James was asked how he feels about playing on the holiday:
↵↵↵"We always say it's good for the fans. But the fans get an opportunity to see us all year. We've got TV games all year. We've got a TV game on Thursday (in Phoenix). I don't care for it too much."
↵
(*sigh*) So no, it turns out LeBron James doesn't hate Santa Claus. On the other hand... Is he indirectly blaming fans for wanting to see him play on Christmas? He is, isn't he? Huh. Now seems like a good time to mention that he'll make $176,000 to play in the Lakers game, and he may not outwardly hate Santa, but yeah, LeBron definitely still sucks.
↵(And yeah, LeBron Hates Santa Claus should definitely be the title of a book. I'd read it.)
