Chris Paul Says He's OK After Suffering Concussion In Hornets' Sunday Win

Chris Paul tweeted to fans that's he OK after tests were run at the Cleveland clinic following the All-Star's on-court concussion during the New Orleans Hornets' win over the Cavaliers on Sunday. Paul collided with Cav point guard Ramon Sessions when skirmishing after a loose ball; CP3, an MVP candidate, crumpled to the floor and was taken off the court in a stretcher.

Tests came back negative and revealed a concussion. John Reid of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports that Paul never lost feeling, but felt significant neck pain after the collision. Paul returned to the arena following his test and traveled with the Hornets to Chicago, where they will play the Bulls on Monday. Paul will not play in that game, however.

Paul hasn't been terribly healthy this season, despite playing all 65 of New Orleans' games to date. He's worn a bulky knee brace much of the season. He played just 45 games a seasons ago.
