Lakers Vs. Mavericks: Kobe's 14 Points Lead Lakers To 53-44 Halftime Lead

After trailing by two after one quarter, the Los Angeles Lakers found their shooting touch in the second quarter and take a 53-44 lead over the Dallas Mavericks into halftime.

Kobe Bryant has 15 points and 4 rebounds so far while Lamar Odom is proving support off the bench with 11 points and 5 rebounds. Pau Gasol also added 9 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.

Jason Terry leads the Mavs with 13 points off the bench while Dirk Nowitzki has 12 points.

Unfortunately, that duo also gave away four points to the Lakers right before the half. Terry fouled Odom while launching a 70-foot jumper at the buzzer. Dirk followed that up by giving away a technical foul as the Lakers went into the locker-room with four freebie foul shots.
